Chain Drive is open Wednesday through Saturday from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m.
On Sunday we open at 4 p.m.

Almost every Wednesday night we feature FREE live music featuring great Austin musicians.

For the 4th time in the last 12 years, the local media outlets have reported that Chain Drive is going
to be leveled for Austin's benefit. Because the condo craze continues unabated, this time it will
probably happen.

As you can imagine, it is impossible to operate a successful business never knowing
when you might be put out-of-business. As such, we have been unable to make needed
improvements to remain competitive and profitable.

We do not know how much longer we will be open. Construction is not set to start
until early 2009. Please continue to enjoy the unique Chain Drive atmosphere until then.
